February, the month for corporations in Mexico to submit disclosure statements
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that February 15, 2012 is the deadline to submit disclosure statements regarding wages and salaries, income tax (ISR in Spanish) withholdings, and Value-Added Tax (VAT) withholdings made by Mexican corporations during the 2011 fiscal year.
Said information should be submitted on the Tax Administration Service (SAT in Spanish) website, http://www.sat.gob.mx , and must be submitted using the form “Multiple Disclosure Statement” (Declaración Informativa Múltiple, or DIM in Spanish) provided by the same institution.
We also recommend having updated or reinstated the advanced electronic signature (Firma Electrónica Avanzada, or FIEL in Spanish), which allows access to the SAT website and the ability to submit the information online.
